Timeless medicine for modern life.

Integrative acupuncture and holistic care that supports your most regulated, resourced, radiant self.

luminous approach to healing

Lumi was created from a simple, heart-centered belief: that the body remembers how to heal when it’s given the right conditions — light, space, and genuine care.

In a world that moves quickly, Lumi offers a different tempo. Here, your system is invited to slow down, soften, and recalibrate, creating the physiological safety required for real healing to take root.

At Lumi, classical Chinese medicine and modern biomedical insight meet as complementary lenses — two dialects of the same truth. One speaks through meridians, seasons, and elemental rhythms; the other through hormones, fascia, and the adaptive intelligence of the nervous system. Together, they reveal a fuller picture of how the body repairs, reorganizes, and restores coherence. Symptoms are approached not as malfunctions, but as meaningful messages pointing toward the places that need nourishment, attention, and support.

This is whole-person medicine: relational, integrative, and deeply attuned. Your body is met as an ecosystem — interconnected, cyclical, wise — and your care unfolds in partnership with your physiology and lived experience. Lumi exists to help you become more regulated, more resourced, and more at home in yourself. It is a place where your story is listened to with depth, your presence is honored, and your healing is supported with intention.

I’m a Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine with a practice grounded in whole-person care. My work blends classical Chinese medicine with modern physiology to optimize how hormones, digestion, the nervous system, and emotional life all shape one another.

My work is inspired by the quiet luminosity inside every person—the part that remembers how to heal when given warmth, attention, and room to breathe. It’s the same light that inspired the name Lumi: a place where people can soften back into themselves, rekindle their spark, and feel more resourced, resilient, and whole.

Before becoming an acupuncturist, I studied biomedicine and human development and spent years working in the nonprofit world, where stress and an undiagnosed autoimmune condition pulled me toward this medicine in a very personal way. Acupuncture was the first modality that helped me feel rewired from the inside out, and I’ve devoted my career to offering that same transformation to others through thoughtful diagnostics, relational care, and treatments that honor the whole person.

Forever curious and deeply in love with learning, I’ve completed advanced training in gynecology, digestion and metabolism, neurology, immunology, energy work, and orthopedics. I’m especially attuned to the emotional and hormonal thresholds of life—adolescence, adulthood, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and the long arc of stress-related imbalance.

Above all, I love helping people come home to themselves. My treatments blend acupuncture, herbal medicine, food therapy, somatic awareness, and lifestyle guidance to restore coherence across the mind, body, and heart.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me in the garden chasing my mischievous animals, reading too many books at once, or laughing with my wife—delighting in the magic threaded through ordinary days.

Whether you’re a new face or an old friend, consider this a warm welcome and an open door.

I'd Love to Hear
From You!
